Meet the new CIA executive director

November 6, 2004 @ 2 Comments

The CIA has a new executive director – but nobody knows who he is.

CNN reported tonight that the CIA has chosen a new executive director. So far, they’re only calling him “Dusty.”

The executive director is third in command, responsible for day-to-day operations.

“Dusty” has been with the agency 22 years, including undercover foreign assignments. The CIA will not release his name until they are sure it will not jeopardize any classified or ongoing operations.

Okay, this is funny. Most of the people who work in the Central Intelligence Agency won’t know who he is until they’re cleared for it. We the people may never know.

What’s next? Let’s make an undercover CIA case officer President of the United States! That way we’ll have no idea who’s running the country. Next, appoint them as Supreme Court justices, so we’ll have no idea who’s trying the country’s most important cases.

How long do you think it will be before the name of every government agent is classified?
