Does a blog need a privacy policy?

November 21, 2004 @ One Comment

Last night someone asked me, before commenting on one of my posts here, what I was going to do with his e-mail address, and where is my privacy policy. I was completely dumbfounded. So I told him I wasn’t doing anything with it but keeping out comment spammers. He posted, and life went on…

I, for my part, figured what the hell, let’s put together a privacy policy. I think it’s pretty silly for a blog to have a privacy policy, but oh well, nobody asks me for my opinions. So without further ado, here it is. It probably needs some work.

    Your privacy policy sucks
Where does it say I get a lifetimes worth of naked women or a cut if you sell out?
Do you keep server logs? If so why?
