First arrests for vote fraud

December 10, 2004 @ Michael HamptonOne Comment

The FBI arrested two men, one the local Democratic Party chair, in Madison County, Indiana, on Tuesday.

Thomas Ashley, 70, the county Democratic chairman, and his son-in-law, Kyle Barber, 47, are now free on bond. Barber was booked on 12 counts of vote fraud and three counts of obstruction of justice, and Ashley was booked on two counts of vote fraud.

Full story (though there isn’t much of it).

And so it begins. I was sort of expecting Republicans to be arrested first, but apparently, there has been fraud on both sides of the aisle. Who do you think would have won if we actually had free, accessible, fair elections?

Who do you think will be next to be thrown in jail?

The next to be thrown in jail will be those investigating the real election fraud with a little too much persistence. FBI arresting Republicans? Unlikely.
