Janet Schoenberg, who stated the judge in her landlord-tenant dispute was mishandling her case against her landlord, listed the judge on eBay.
From the article:
A Manhattan housing court judge said he was not amused by an advertisement on eBay that listed him for sale — with worldwide shipping included — posted by a disgruntled litigant.
The ad criticized Judge Jerald R. Klein for the way he dispensed justice and showed a photograph of him smiling, seated in the courtroom. It drew 6,400 and 21 bidders over four days.
OK, this is really funny. Wish I’d been able to see the listing before it got yanked.

LOL. Since the criminal justice system is rather corrupt I like the idea of bidding on judges.
Off topic but if you’re looking for donations (I’ll pitch a ten spot) think about Amazon’s “Honor System”. Like many, I refuse to use PayPal. I gave a donation to somafm.org via AHS and it was quick and painless (since I buy stuff through Amazon anyways).
Great site.

Just for you, pherris, I’ve added links to Amazon Honor System. There’s a text link and the usual pay box in the sidebar. You can go that route or just browse my Wish List for something worth $10 and throw it in to your next order.

Can you image what would actually happen if the listing ran its course and the judge
got purchased…I wonder how big of a lawsuit that would have been
