It&#039;s easy to jump to conclusions and make unsubstantiated claims when a news item apparently supports your preconcieved ideas.  I guess it&#039;s another thing to post a retraction when your claim has been found to be erroneous.</description>

Yes, this totally sucks. As I&#039;ve said before, the only real way to fix it is to kick these suckers out, and a) go back to a more &quot;tried-and-true&quot; method (aka optical scan, like we do here in Oregon), or b) use &lt;a href=&quot;http://open-vote.org/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;OpenVoite&lt;/a&gt;.
