Information security best practices

July 9, 2005 @ Michael HamptonOne Comment

Security is not a program, it’s a process.

Security Awareness for Ma, Pa and the Corporate Clueless has posted seven information security best practices. If you use a computer, you should read them and take them to heart to protect yourself.

The above is one of them, and probably the #1 thing you should remember.

Educate yourself about security, understand the do’s and don’ts and once you understand them, you must adhere to them.

Try to forgive their lack of spelling and grammar abilities. The advice is nonetheless sound.

Their’s absotutely nothin wrong with our spelling and grammer. haha

I like to let my guest bloggers express themselves in their own words. A little editing here and there is nice but the message is what really matters, as you stated.

Thanks for helping spread the message. And, by the way, I’m one of the 2/3 users avoiding SP2 and doing quite nicely.

    Keep up the good blog.
