The United States and United Kingdom have planned a phased pullout of forces from Iraq and redeployment of some forces to Afghanistan and elsewhere in the Middle East, according to a Reuters wire report and an Agence France-Presse report.
The pullout fairly closely follows the Libertarian plan though over a longer timeline. The Libertarians had called for a one-year pullout, while current defense plans have only one-half of troops out of Iraq after that time.

Wonder what the people who wanted a NOW withdrawal will say about this news?
