The Power of Nightmares now available online

The critically acclaimed BBC documentary The Power of Nightmares, never before seen in the U.S., is now available for free download from The Internet Archive.

In a new series, the Power of Nightmares explores how the idea that we are threatened by a hidden and organised terrorist network is an illusion.

It is a myth that has spread unquestioned through politics, the security services and the international media. — BBC

The series examines the culture of fear and documents how it was created by modern-day politicians.

The series is in three parts, so be sure to download all three. I’m downloading this right now. I’ll post a review later.

For those of us constrained to use dial-up, does anyone know if this film is being sold anywhere? It sounds seriously important.

Looks like Amazon has it available in several formats.

I was able to find a VCD, another VCD, and a DVD. I also found an e-book, which I presume is just a text transcript of the series.
