Hey, terrorists! Listen up! For only $80 a year, you can find out if you are on the Department of Homeland Security’s terrorist watch list.
It seems that Orlando International Airport is going forward with its CLEAR Registered Traveler program. For $79.95 a year, you receive a card with a biometric identifier that gives you expedited security screening when traveling from Orlando. Best of all, the TSA will monitor your security status, and if you no longer qualify for the program, they’ll notify you.
I wrote about this program a couple of months ago, noting that it will enhance homeland security “right up until the point the terrorists start becoming registered travelers.”
Security expert Bruce Schneier calls it “Such a deal.” Yeah, for the terrorists. That giant sucking sound you hear is all the terrorists moving to Orlando and applying for the CLEAR program.
Be sure to see The Jawa Report for more on what the terrorists are up to.
