I steal from Wal-Mart almost every single time I go in their. I have this certain pocket book that I use because it is very roomy and I just go in and fill it up with whatever my heart desires (well almost). If I can fit it into my purse, then I can steal it, no matter what it is. Just as long as it fits in my purse. In the past, I’ve even taken my son in their with an empty diaper bag (a big one) and filled it up too. And then their was this one time when I was shoplifting, and I accidentally forget to check something for a security strip before putting it in my purse and when I walked out the alarm went off and I was stopped. I had a purse and diaper bag full of crap and a few bags of stuff that I had to purchase because their was no room to steal it. Well, when the alarm went off, I just casually kept walking like nothing was wrong. The lady called me 3 times before I turned around. I just remained calm and smiled at her. She grabbed my walmart bags and walked back through the detectors (meanwhile, I stood in the lobby) to see if something was tagged. Nothing happened. Well, instead of asking me to walke back through with my personal bags (to see if I had stole something), she just put my walmart bags back in my buggy for me and said that someone else walking out at the same time as me probably set the alarm off. She apologized for the inconvenience and told me to have a nice day. I couldn’t believe it!

So I’m wondering, how does Walmart even catch shoplifters? I mean, obviously the security cameras are just for looks. I do understand that majority of the time, shoplifters are caught by the way they are behaving (running around in circles, looking over their shoulder, just acting suspicious) and not everyone is able to remain cool, calm, and collected like myself. But what about all of the shoplifters like myself, that are able to steal something so easily even when there is an employee standing only 2 feet away? (Man, I could tell you some crazy stories about how I stole from Walmart).

I currently work for walmart. The LP guy had to go to the hospital once because these stupid asshole people who were shoplifting decided to beat the shit out of him. And then the head LP, told us we weren’t allowed to do anything but be a witness. But it was a good thing that the cart guy tackled the shoplifter that was being the lp up. There was once a lady who got caught and she decided she needed to use the restroom and while she was in the restroom she overdosed on shots of drugs. And the ambulance had to come out. That’s just some of the things shoplifters will do to get out of their situations. I don’t agree with how the people greeters treat the customers sometimes especailly the one in garden center. She’s horrible.

But anyways. I don’t really believe the story of shoplifters getting jumped by ten people let alone six. If the shoplifters are going to be obtained it’s going to be by the lp. Not the regular employees because we are always told we can not touch them. We are not allowed to do anything. If we see someone shoplifting we call a memember of management. That’s the rules.

Although I work for walmart and I would agree with our lp people.

I still think that in the community walmart doesn’t do any good. And they screw over associates time and time again. And if you get hurt on the job the doctors just jerk you around saying that this is wrong with you then oh no now it’s this. what the hell?

I couldn’t careless if walmart disappeared off the face of the earth!
Although the low prices are great and all, there isn’t that big of a difference in their prices and Targets and Kmarts. It would be nice if we could have a new and improved walmarts with employees that treat customers and associates a lot better then they do now.

I bet if Sam Walton was still alive half the shit that goes on in these walmart places would come to a stop. But the head corp. is all interested in the money for themselves.

i was just charged with shoplifting from wal-mart in west virginia i have plead not guilty and am now awaiting another court date to be sent to me to appear before a magistrate and i wasn’t even shoplifting i am not saying it couldn’t have been perceived as that cuz i damn well did look like it but it wasn’t let me tell you what happened
me and my girlfriend 8 year old boy was out shopping well at the mall i had bought a game at eb games and her son wanted a t particular game the game for the movie cars well while looking through games i had set it down and when i purchased mine i had forgot all about buying his game we got to the car and started driving down the road when he said i forgot to get his game so i said we would get it another time well i then thought about going to the wal-mart that wasn’t that far from our current location we stopped in and we walked in just me and the kid we went back to the electronics and picked a movie out for his mother and i had found another game which was a poker game for ps2 i wanted so i picked it up but next to it was the cars game that the kid had wanted so i secretly slid it behing the poker game when he wasn’t looking we then had went into an isle that something on the shelf caught his attention i then hid the games uner the back of my muscel shirt so he could neot see them we walked around the corner which was also by the exit the kid ran passed there sensors i had stepped right by them and yelled for him to come back to me at that time two men one skinny and one fat guy grabbed me up not a tap on the shoulder or an excuse me but physically the fat guy (which looked like a mongoloid)grabbed me around the waist which had encased my right arm and the skinny guy had put my left arm in an arm hold and without anything being said thus far he said say one word and i will knock the fucking daylights out of you he thenm said i will make sure you don’t wake back up this was said in front of the kid at that point i started to try to get the fat guy off of me which was trying to squeese me as hard as he could like a bear hug and the other guy was pushing me towards the back of the store everytime i tried to say something they were cursing me and threatning me they were not in wal-mart uniforms and were not wearing any name tags they were dressed like anybody else shopping blue jeans and a tee shirt then they put me in a chair and tell me not to say a word then they ask me for my social i tell him and he says say it again and i said you didn’t get it he got all red and got in my face and again threaned to knock my lights out well at that point i knew it was useless to even try to say anything then the cop came in and wouldn’t let me say anything told me to just say yes or no i said ok and he got in my face and said i told you to say yes or no don’t piss me off well i sat there and they had the child in the hallway in a chair where i could see and the manager of the store was asking him about his homelife i said your not to talk to him the cop and the store associate told me to shut up and the store manager kept talking to him finally i got my ticket and left the store they had also made me sign a paper saying i wasn’t able to enter any west virginia wal-mart establishment we left and ain’t been back i am 22 years old and today i went to the court hearing and the pr bonded me and said i am facing a 100 to 500 dollar fine or 60 days in jail or both and i have to pay wal-mart a fee for shoplifting plus pay double the price of the merchandise which added up to 54.06 i plead not guilty and asked to be appointed an attorney now i am awaiting a peice of mail stating my next court date i am going to go not guilty all the way because i was not shoplifting and i even had plenty of money on me to pay for the merchandise and i had even said i was paying for it well i was just writing this to show how well wal-mart supposedly handles things i thought no employee was allowed to put there hands on you unless you have set foot outside of the store i may be wrong but i believe if you are still in the store how could you have stolen it if it is still there oh and by the way none of the merchandise was damaged in any way or even attempted to be opened or altered
