Regular readers will have noticed the new poll section in the sidebar. For the last few days, I’ve been asking, Will Osama bin Laden be found in 2006? And the results are in.
The poll is, of course, completely unscientific and usually meaningless, but it’s a nice way to have your opinion heard. I’ll run a new poll every few days and post the results, and from there, the comment box will remain open for your thoughts.
What do you think? Will Osama bin Laden be found next year? Why or why not?
Oh, and there’s a new poll for your voting pleasure. Try not to stuff the ballot box.
| 8% | Yes |
| 48% | No |
| 34% | He’s already dead |
| 10% | I don’t know |

To find Osama would force American authorities to publicy re-examine the events of 9/11. What if he could prove there was collusion on the part of some American government organization? I don’t think they want to find him, alive anyway. Tyler Colby.

It is likely that the ‘capture’ of Osama bin Laden will take the form of an ‘October surprise’ just before the 2006 or 2008 election.

IG, I seem to recall you saying something very similar in 2004.

I have been wondering if Osama bin Laden might not be real, or possibily a tool of the Pentagon. After all if they can post articles in newspapers in Iraq, Why not in the US.
