		<description>I firmly believe in the old saying &quot;dont knock it until you&#039;ve tried it.&quot;  And you have DEFINATELY never had to dispatch an emergency call before. And I guarantee you, that if something were to happen to you or a family member, you wouldn&#039;t even hesitate to dial 911. There is nothing more stressful than the though that someone&#039;s life is in your hands.  Imagine having that feeling every time the phone rings!  I know from experience that it can get very hectic very fast in a dispatch room and there is no room for error. So, you can continue to write your columns and not worry about typos, but in my world, a typo could mean someones life.  Think about that before you start &quot;knocking&quot; dispatchers!</description>
