Hey SteveO,
I submitted my e-86 about a month ago and so far I haven’t received anything concerning my forms. I’m hoping I get a call next month; I have applied at 8 different airports in both florida, and Texas. Also, during the airport assessment,do they go through the application asking all kinds of question, such as, why you left your previous jobs. Thanks!

Orbit-correction, I meant it took almost 2 months after my credit check before I got called in for my airport assesment.

Oh and on your e86 online forms, dont forget to put “street, lane, way,” etc at the end of any street name. They are picky about that. (this was one of my corrections I needed)

Orbit-it took 3 months after my credit check before they called me in for my airport assesment test. And you have to complete your e86 forms without any corrections within 21 days after your airport assesment test. I had my e86 forms returned to me via email around 3 times. But the last corrections were within 21 days still. Also, they may not state ALL your corrections the first time for some dumb reason, which is why I had “new” corrections each time. So when I had to make more corrections, I was asking myself why the heck they didnt just tell me about all my corrections the first time instead of 3 different times after I thought I made all the neccessary corrections, lol.

or it can be something simple as give those that are younger a chance?since you guys are approaching retirement age? is that possible? and since older candidates already been there and done that?

can’t believe I failed the interview portion of the airport assessment, 2 person panel was very rude and would mumble the questions and got pissed because I had to ask him to please repeat the question. I have aced these structured interviews in the past, I feel they cut me because I am not a vet, and 61 years old. Iam pissed.
