I’ve successfully created a program that lets me send messages to these officials. Its fairly simple. They complicate it firther, I’ll move it up a notch. Nothing is impossible in web technology. They think they can stop legitimate messages from their contituents from reaching them. This should show them

the fcc’s complaint form could have used something like this when the superbowl incident sparked all the christian censorship groups into action. I had almost created a script to scan the closed captioning from tv preacher programs to send an automated complaint every time the word “damn” was used.

But anyway, sending these automated messages still requires the member of the lobbying group to go to their web site, fill in their information and hit “send”. So, I don’t think it’s too different a process to instead provide the text to copy-n-paste and a link to the form they need to fill out.

Please donâ€™t try to tell me American education is so bad that 81 percent of people canâ€™t copy a number into the text box. Iâ€™ll believe a lot of things, but I wonâ€™t buy that one just yet.
