The politician was wrong for behaving this way toward his constituent. Issue 2: Decriminalizing Marijuana Alcohol is legal, but drunk driving is illegal. Smoking marijuana should be just as legal as drinking alcohol, but I believe driving while intoxicated or under the influence will still cover driving after smoking marijuana, it is and should remain illegal, like other dangerous activities. Issue 3: Politician contacting the police I suppose anyone can report anything they wish to the police, and it is up to the police to determine if the report was legitimate or not. Filing a false report with the police is also ilegal. I suspect the politician was on the border of filing a false report in this case.
