Our country has two forms of Government: Civil (Constitutional Law) and Maritime (Martial Law). It was allowed for emergency situations which required a real time response. Martial Law was in force during WWII in American. This allowed dictatorial power by our leaders. Because the “War OF Terror” is expected to last indefinitely, Bush has been given power to enforce Martial Law at his discretion. With out Constitutional over site, he becomes absolute dictator as he has inferred already.

The oppression of innocent Japanese Americans is a clear warning of this fact.
