But, for me, it's inexcusable that in the eyes of the US government referencing the Constitution, which binds and preserves the innermost rights of the individual, is akin to owning explosives. Questioning the government is our job on an occasion, but I do believe that many rules are in place for a reason. I don't agree that our country is in a state of rapid "decline"; it may be that increased government control is actually a defensive measure in the modernized international climate, where war can happen in a heartbeat. But if they ever try to alter to the Constitution, you can bet I'll be standing out there on Capitol Hill, holding all the posters I need to make them realize they are making a huge mistake.
