		<description>It does seem like checking with the source fax sender to find out what was going on would have been logical.   In this case it claimed to be from another part of the organization.   Now this could be faked.   But a quick check of that organization would have found that this was sent from them and why.   Now if they claimed no knowledge of this, then it very well could have been a threat and at that point the actions taken would have been logical.

On the other hand it was coming from marketing, and after all most marketing and sales departments are scary in the first place, so maybe this was logical after all ;-)</description>
