In any debate, Stevens or Molyneux will win. So they need to run away from any challenge of ours. If they "give us enough rope to hang ourselves", peculiarly, they will wind up dangling from its end. Of course, there's nothing special about the tiny minority; they too are human and, if you accept this premise, have it in their nature to kill those with whom they disagree. This is where your wars come from. This is why there will always be abuse of power in government; there is no way to eliminate it because it's inherent in the system. I would put the suggestion to you that if there were another way to achieve the social control necessary to keep people from killing each other, that did not require giving some tiny minority power to kill anyone they wanted, it would be worth pursuing.
