The Federal Reserve caused the Great Depression and the horrific suffering, deprivation and dislocation America and the world experienced in its wake. The worldwide economic downturn called the Great Depression, which persisted from 1929 until about 1939, was the longest and worst depression ever experienced by the industrialized Western world. While originating in the U.S., it ended up causing drastic declines in output, severe unemployment, and acute deflation in virtually every country on earth. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, “the Great Depression ranks second only to the Civil War as the gravest crisis in American history.”

Most Americans believe that the Federal Reserve is part of the government. They are wrong. It is a privately held corporation owned by stockholders. The Federal Reserve System is owned by the largest banks in the United States. There are Class A, B, and C shareholders. The owner banks and their shares in the Federal Reserve are a secret. Why is this a secret? It is likely that the biggest banks in the country are the major shareholders. Does this explain why Citicorp, Bank of America and JP Morgan, despite being insolvent, are being propped up by Ben Bernanke and Timothy Geithner? The Constitution of the United States unequivocally states that only Congress has the authority to coin money, not an independent bank owned by unknown bankers.

North Korea is a joke. Hit us with what? Their previous launches of missiles barely were able to leave their airspace before they went out of control. This is pathetic chest beating like Saddams chest beating akin to a mouse giving a tiger the finger.

The United States historically has a budget of 44% of tax revenues to kill people. Time to stop the madness and save our people. 2007 $682 Billion we know of was spent on defense and we STILL sweat like little girls while China spends $62 Billion on Defense. We being suckers and chickens to live in a world of mostly our own creation through domination.

This will stop around Sept as the US defaults on it’s debts and all I can ask is “Was it worth it folks?”

n. korea, maybe is instigating war for the simple reason of trying to thin the herd. as ive said before., mother nature will fix anything we refuse to. i dont know if its too late to stop globalization of policies towards economics, but i do feel a quessiness about it. i would think it to be in our national interest to come up with the solution, to make our country solvent again, at the same time, we can share the bluebrint abroad after success, but, falling into a trap of having other nations, making decisions which will effect us is unacceptable. bring our troops home and lets clean our own house. lets gather the winning ideas and implement them. we need to look at all possible options, and then all agree to implement the ones that will work. if were all in a boat, headed for a large watterfall, maybe we better all start paddelling.

I don’t recall the url, but I saw a video on youtube of Ron Paul saying that he expects the depression to last 10-15 yrs. And the US dollar to collapse because it is worthless. You can’t turn it in for gold or silver anymore.

Personally, I’m getting ready for worse times ahead. So far I’ve got a month’s supply of food, a huge garden, 3 guns(though I could use more ammo), some old silverware(silver is silver man), camp cookware (in case we can’t afford electricity or it stops working), metal working stuff(so that if it comes down to it I can get a job in the futre “black market economy” making knives and swords), and survival skills.
I hope it’ll be enough.
